It is normal for the MAW-600H-WH to draw trace quantities of power through a light fixture when the dimmer is turned off. The dimmer requires this power to keep its internal circuitry active and will not affect the operation or light-level of the incandescent/halogen lamps that it is rated for. If a customer attempts to use the dimmer with LED lamps (which it is not rated for) this leakage current may cause the lamps to glow while in the off-state.
